A variety of fundraising expertise
‘I hold a Certificate in Fundraising from the Association Française des Fundraisers and the ESSEC Business School in Paris. Fluent in French, Italian and English, I understand the cultural, fiscal and regulatory contexts of different fundraising markets. My experience of fundraising techniques runs from good old direct mail to digital and social media to large scale, high-profile partnerships.’
‘Although I have not worked directly with healthcare clowning, I have worked with Alan Clayton and Richard Turner to develop a presentation that is specifically tailored to and takes into consideration the context and specificities of fundraising for healthcare clowning, following their experience developing a new ambition with CliniClowns Netherlands.’
Giving makes people feel good
‘I’m hoping to inspire delegates and demonstrate how great fundraising can enable organisations to deliver more on their missions. How powerful storytelling can inspire people to donate. And how donating makes people feel good and how to build a donor centred organisation.’
Sylvia wants to share the key insights she has learned from working in fundraising.
She will be one of the keynote speakers at HCIM, you can find more info about the other keynote speakers here.
