To connect worlds, connect people and change spaces. So we did! HCIM2022 was a great success with an average of 320 participants per day from 35 different countries from all over the world. A gathering of wonderful people from different disciplines, who not only connected with each other, but also inspired each other tremendously. We look back on this wonderful and inspiring conference with a warm and joyful feeling. It was great having everybody here and we are very thankful that we were able to host a live conference with each other again. See you all in 2025! |
This ‘Health Care Clown World Wide Song’ unites us all in our common goal. How beautiful! Keep up the good work and stay connected with each other. |

Dear Friends and Colleagues, Whether you work for a clown organisation or as a professional for a (healthcare) organisation, we are happy to welcome you to The Hague in the Fokker Terminal for the Healthcare Clowning International Meeting from April 20th -22nd 2022. You can join us to connect worlds, connect people and change spaces. There we will meet all the people who are part of the life-changing experience of healthcare clowning. With this conference we can get to know each other's worlds better and discover how we can continue to further develop our work. We will meet from different perspectives. By sharing and working together we can increase our impact in the world. You can look forward to an interesting and interactive conference with inspiring speakers and professionals. We will look at everything from different angles. From impact and our role in society to the art of clowning and fundraising, as well as innovation and online opportunities. Especially in these extraordinary times it’s important to keep in touch with each other. We also experience the power of real contact when it is less easy to see or touch each other. It's great to see how everyone deals with this, how people have found creative ways to connect with each other. This also applies to the Healthcare Clowning International Meeting in 2022. We don't yet know what the world will look like and what is possible at that time, but we’ll see it through. Here in The Hague you can experience this amazing conference as an inspiration for making impact in your own way! If you come to The Hague, you can enjoy one of the most special cities in the Netherlands. But also a great conference venue with tasteful décor and with enough space to keep a social distance from each one another. We believe in possibilities. Let's connect! On behalf of the organisation of HCIM with a smile, Jacqueline Kaptein (Artistic program leader) Ilse Beckers (Chief engagement) Coen Abbenhuis (Managing director) |
